Online Audition & Monologue Prep

by Victor Marana (Bilingual Contemporary) and Ian Morgan (English Classic)

Audition & Monologue Prep coaching helps students select and prepare monologues for different audition settings, including auditions for theater, colleague/college?, agents, and casting directors. We focus on finding nuance, making the text personal, raising the stakes, finding a specific recipient, connecting the words to the body, and finding colors and creating images.

This coaching helps our students attain their best performances in front of auditioners. and get comfortable with the material to be ready to get into an audition room. We train actors in contemporary and classic monologues that make them feel confident and show the best of their artistry. We work with different writing styles in order to help actors approach all types of texts with an individual touch. Students will need any video platform for this coaching and will need to work with material in between sessions. Coahes will also show differences between On Camera and Theatre auditions.
